The webcam located at JR Aizu-Wakamatsu Station is probably one of the most impressive examples of the Internet technology known as streaming video. I had a spare morning and one last day on my JR Pass so I decided to go check out this camera. My photos are in my gallery now.

Hi. Would you happen to have a timetable for this station? I can’t find one myself. Many thanks in advance.

Err thanks route246 but I can’t seem to get it to work. It says “Start point was not found” and “Station name error”. And to be totally honest (and no offence route246 I really appreciate your help!) it isn’t that useful/helpful. 1) It assumes that I know every station that connects to Aizu Wakamatsu and 2) I was mainly after a comprehensive timetable that tells you the exact time when trains arrive and depart from only Aizu Wakamatsu on weekdays and weekends. I found one a while ago but I forgot to save it and it has since 404′ed and I can’t refind it either. The only part I remember, I’m not sure if you know it already or not, is that 2 trains leave simultaneously at 9PM local time on weekdays
. Thanks once again route246.

Please try “aizuwakamatsu” in the field. It should find that.
