Note: This is from a series of trip reports from my January 2010 Tokyo Trip. They are random musings about whatever seems interesting for that day.
Flying to Japan from California takes a long time. In this case it was about 12 hours due to delays and circling the airport in Japan for awhile due to outbound congestion on that day. So what’s interesting? Not much about a long trans-Pacific flight. Here are some shots I took that day. The telemetry data fed by GPS keeps us fully informed of where we are, how far we are from the destination and what time is it in California.
