Day 5 Post
Note: This is from a series of trip reports from my January 2010 Tokyo Trip. They are random musings about whatever seems interesting for that day.
This was my room in Hakata (Chuo-eki 2). The previous room post was in Uguisudani in Tokyo. This one in Hakata is about 2-3 minutes from JR Hakata Station and in a very quiet area. I highly recommend Toyoko Inn for the consistency, location and value. The room is slightly bigger than the one at Uguisudani in Tokyo. It was still outfitted the same with the same modular bath room and wash-let. The single beds I’ve had are actually quite large. I’m not sure if these are categorized as semi-double or not. I booked a single room and this is what I got. As a Toyoko Inn Club member (cost Y1500) you get 20% off on Sundays.
